I have to say that the Fargo Marathon was so amazing I almost forgot how awful running 26.2 Miles was. This is my very first marathon, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I feel like Fargo would pretty hard to beat. The whole entire process ran so smoothly. I’m someone who can get very anxious when I’m not sure of what the game plan is (on top of the nervousness of running a marathon), but the communication throughout the entire time was excellent. Getting my bag was a breeze. The route was great. We hit the main Fargo-Moorhead hot spots, but there was a lot of residential running, which had a lot of great support. The medal wasn’t some cheap dime store award either. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be living my marathon hoodie from now because it’s so comfy. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better first marathon!
