I know this is the first time they had a half so I ran that, but I have completed the full in the past. -The shuttle gets you the start … MORE
I know this is the first time they had a half so I ran that, but I have completed the full in the past.
-The shuttle gets you the start almost 2 hours early (thank god it wasn’t raining)
-Soup at the finish (although bib indicated something additional)
-Course is easy and beautiful
-Everyone is super nice.
-At some aid stations you had to physically stop and get the water off the table (I’m not fast so not too big of a deal to gain second on my time)
-The porta potties had lines long (not the events fault) They had them at EVERY aid station.
All-in-all I had a good time. I did not try to shower at the end or really try to hang out so all that stuff does not apply to me. It VERY expensive to stay in Napa or around there so it is a very costly event if you do not live near by. But other than that I loved it and would do it again.

I recommend this race to everyone I talk to. This is a tough beautiful course. The atmosphere is outstanding and the people are so nice. I love running through the vineyards. Looking up at the views is incredible. I’ve ran this event several times and I can’t get tired of it. It’s that good. Come join us and see for yourself.
