Good Race Not Great for Stroller Runners

Pros: Parking availability; scenery; organization of bibs/shirts pickup day of; announcements about race/rules/etiquette; after race food was amazing
Cons: While they say they’re stroller friendly, it was not great. Grass at the beginning and loose gravel most of the 3rd mile – I probably added 2 minutes to my time because I couldn’t possibly run faster with the stroller in that gravel. Also early bib pickup is only convenient for people who either don’t work or only work/live in the Berkeley/Oakland area (but day of pick up was not as bad as they warned). End of race volunteers seemed very overwhelmed with passing out water AND the medals. None of the people around me got medals at the finish, just water and we had to go back to ask for our medals. Hope Brazen works on that system for the next race.
