I’ve run many races in the wine country area and this one beat the rest for me in terms of course. You are running THROUGH the vineyards not simply alongside the main roads. Really unique experience that is worth traveling for. The festival afterwards was a blast with real hot eggs and Bear Republic bear on tap. It was well organized and the finisher shirt has quickly become my new favorite long sleeve. Looking forward to doing the half marathon next year and exploring more of the course. OH and free photos was a total plus!

Beer toast at the start is really fun! Great race to start running season in the spring with and not take that seriously. They do two waves of runners those that are serious racers who plan to finish under an hour and the second wave for those more casual. Thought this split the pack up nicely. The beer festival at the end was amazing and watching the beer mile was unique and fun!
