This was a great race. It rained a few times, but overall decent weather. The view was also very nice. It was a flat course until mile 25 which was a bit brutal. The swag was a drawstring bag and a cheaply made t-shirt. Definitely don’t do this race for the swag. Also, another unfortunate thing was that the host hotel was 2 miles from the finish line. After the race was over I had to figure out transportation to get back to the hotel. I wish that would have been disclosed in the travel information on the race website and I would have just booked the hotel that was directly at the finish line. Also, it was recommended to get to the shuttle early and so I did, and they took us to the start 1 hour before the race started. It was very cold and that hour was a bit miserable. Gear check was very close though so next time I will make sure to bring a jacket to check in. Overall a good race and I would do it again.

This was a really great race and was very well put together. The swag was nice, scenery was decent, and the course support was on point. The only thing to keep in mind about this race were the hills! Definitely train for hills if you are going to do this race.

This was a really great marathon! It was very well organized with a ton of course support. The race directors were very responsive and helpful. There also wasn’t a ton of hills. The only downside to the race is there wasn’t a ton of spectators. I would definitely run this one again.

This was a great race. There was a ton of course support and a decent amount of spectators. The only problem I had was when I finished the race my watch said I ran 26.7 miles.
