I had a blast! We got to cross the Mighty Miss on three bridges!! Tons of volunteer and crowd support. Crossing the finish line, the race director was waiting with a high five! Great swag. All in all I’m ready to do it again. There is some elevation at the bridges. More going up Kimberly Rd and 23rd in Bettendorf, but its manageable. Some traffic in Bettendorf on River Drive that’s ok but I could live without. I loved the Swag wagon from fleet feet around mile 22? All in all a great race! (Even though I swore at mile 16, no more marathons:) You can tell the director and crew really care. If you can, get your room at the Wyndham at race start point. I didn’t and wished I had.
