I enjoyed the scenery and location so much, I ran solely for the experience. The route took us through back country roads that I never would have gotten to see had I not done this race. I snapped lots of photos along the way and sipped wine at the GunBun refreshment stop. What a treat! Weather was chilly to start; I kept a jacket on the whole time. Plenty of water stations, fun finish line celebration – loved it. Will definitely be running another Destination Race in the future!
