They added a couple more steep(ish) bridges, but I loved it. It felt like we stayed more in the city and not so much on the outskirts. The past years were great, but the changes just made it even better. Gorilla Hill, of course, is the highlight of the marathon!

The scenery and citizen participation does it for me. I walk almost the full 13.1 miles and the people out there cheering everyone one makes you feel like you’re in first place. I look forward to this race every single year. The finishers medals and shirts just get better every year. The Health & Fitness Expo is almost as fun as the race itself.
