Having the race start and also finish inside the Fargodome is a fantastic advantage, especially when the weather outside turns out to be cool, wet, and windy (aka the Fargo hat trick). I was able to stay warm and dry while getting ready for the race, and my family stayed warm and dry while enjoying the atmosphere and waiting for me.
The very flat course had great fan and volunteer support, regardless of the bad weather. Everyone was friendly and enthusiastic.
The course was a nice run through mostly residential areas. I believe that one or two of the more scenic stretches had to be rerouted this year because of flooding issues.
I will definitely run Fargo again.
