XTERRA McDowell Mountain Trail Run

With over 80 miles of trails to choose from, McDowell Mountain Regional Park is a trail runner’s paradise. As our venue for the fifth trail running events of Arizona’s XTERRA Trail Run Series, our courses have something for all trail runner levels.

The 10k course gradually climbs to a scenic vista before a fast downhill to the finish.

The 15 mile long course of one of our season’s best trail running events. Featuring a gradual climb full of cholla forests and fields of beaver tail cactus, the 15 mile course is one giant loop with plenty of aid stations, cruising climbs and fun descents that are easy on the knees.

Or go long on this fast marathon course up Shallmo Wash to Pemberton clockwise to Dixie Mine. Return on Coachwhip back to Pemberton at mile 10 continuing clockwise. No Tonto for you. Continue on Pemberton on to Escondido with a small loop up Lousley Hill just for fun before the finish.

All participants will receive a huge post-race breakfast, a super cool race tee and finisher medal, and entry into fun post-race festivities.
