Winter Trail Fest (WTF) 13.1

From race website (2/23/21): The race is a go for an in-person race starting in size-limited waves. The race will be moved from Yankee Springs to Robinette’s Apple Haus and Winery. This will be a two loop half marathon course, and a 1 loop 5 mile course.

Some call it Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Half, some call it the Winter Trail Fest Half some just think What The F….. This race is not for the weak at heart or the cold intolerant. We will be down at Yankee Springs for a winter trail half marathon race and we will be hoping for some of the nastiest conditions possible! We really want you to earn your WTF Medal and WTF custom hoodie! The afternoon start will give you a chance to relax and enjoy the morning before tackling 13.1 brutal miles in the afternoon!

Not quite ready for a Half Marathon but still want to race? We’ve added a 5 mile option!!

As with all of our races, Trivium is going to give you the best race experience possible with easy to follow trail markings, a lot of gels, gatorade, and water on the course, live results, and unique prizes!

At the finish, we will have some warm cocoa, a bumper sticker and an awesome finisher’s medal to show people when they ask you “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot were you thinking, racing a trail half marathon that crosses a creek in the middle of a Michigan winter?!”
