Join us for an exciting annual event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of Summerset Winery! Located just minutes outside of Des Moines, Iowa in Indianola, Summerset Winery produces award winning Iowa wine from locally grown, central Iowa grapes. Whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.

Course Map
The Race Starts and Finishes at the Winery! The route is on grass and paved roads and features an amazing and scenic course! This is not the optimal course for a PR, but it is a great option if you’re looking for the most fun you’ve had at a 5k! Runners and Walkers are welcomed to participate!
Please note: kids are welcome to run or walk, but strollers or baby carriers are not allowed on the course due to a few areas with uneven ground. Also please note that dogs are not allowed at the winery or on the course.
THIS IS A 2 LOOP COURSE! Please do not cross the timing mat after your first lap. You will cross the timing mat at the start of the race, and again at the finish.
If you decide to only do 1 lap, that’s fine! Just let our timer know and we’ll switch you to the 2.5K division!
