The female and male 5K Masters division winners are the first runners who are over 40 years old to finish. The male 10K Master is the first make over 40 to finish. The female 10K Master is the oldest female to finish, nevermind whatever 40-something female that actually WON the race.There are no water stops and no snacks at the end. The sad thing is that Whitney herself would have run that 10K… This nonsensical system would have denied her the trophy she would have deserved, as she was over 40 and would undoubtedly have won. Pity. I won’t run it again. I don’t do unfairness, plus, you can’t shell out $$ for water at the 3 mile mark in 96% humidity? Noooope. Boring course…flooded & deep puddles…dull. usually rigged so the family can win. Clogged up badly, old folks won’t get out of the way if runners are coning through. It’s a no from me, dog .
