The Waukesha 126 is now a certified marathon course! That’s right. The flattest course in WI is now certified for a marathon. It’s 15 laps around Fox River giving your crew awesome spectator and support locations! The course has a grand total of 6′ in elevation changes and that is because you have to run over a bridge.
It is Waukesha’s 126th anniversary year, and Oktoberfest all on the same day! Let’s celebrate Spring City’s anniversary with a 126 minute run! Fast or slow, all are welcome and everyone gets a finisher medal! Run it individual, as a team or as a relay! Come for the race and stay for Oktoberfest!
The course is 1.72 miles around Frame Park & the Fox River!
Speedsters: If you are looking for a fast course, the Waukesha 125 is for you. Can you reach 20 miles in 125 minutes?
First time half marathoners: This is a perfect course for you. It’s 7.6 laps around the Fox River and super flat. If you don’t complete the 13.1 miles by 125 minutes, no worries. We will leave the course open for 3 hours.
The start line is located on the west side of the Fox River. The first “lap” will be approximately 1 mile. This is a super fast and flat course with a 14′ change in elevation. The course map does not indicate this.
The finish line is located on the east side of the Fox River. We have separate start and finish lines because a half marathon is 7.6 laps and we want everyone to finish near Oktoberfest!
You can run as much or as little as you want. It is your race and everyone gets a finisher medal!
