Veterans 10K and 5K New Orleans

The Veterans 10K & 5K from the National World War II Museum with be a patriotic event for the entire family. The event will start and finish from National World War II Museum on Camp Street and Andrew Higgins Blvd. Runners will run down Camp Street to Prytania Street and turn left onto Harmony Street, then turn right onto St. Charles Avenue to Lee Circle. At Lee Circle runners will turn right onto Andrew Higgins Blvd. and then left back to Camp Street to finish the 5K Road Race. 10K Runners will turn right to begin lap two!

Finisher medals each year for both the 10K & 5K will showcase a major battle from WWII. For the second annual event, the finisher medals will highlight one of the largest Battles of World War II, The Battle of the Bulge! The Battle of the Bulge, also known as the Ardennes Counteroffensive, was the last major German offensive campaign on the Western Front during World War II, and took place from 16 December 1944 to 25 January 1945. Our Award Medals of Gold, Silver & Bronze will be a Military Dog Tag in design and will be an annual feature at the New Orleans Veterans Road Race.

Runners and walkers that participate in the Veterans 10K & 5K will have the opportunity to make donations to The National World War II Museum annually through this event.
