CHANGE THE GAME. Join this fall for the fourth annual Unified 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run where participants can run, jog or walk UNIFIED to support Special Olympics New Jersey. It’s more than a race – it’s a shared experience where runners compete alongside Special Olympics athletes. All participants will receive a custom finisher’s medal crossing the finish line – given to you by a Rowan Unified Club Athlete and Partner!

What does Unified mean? The Unified movement joins people with and without intellectual disabilities through Special Olympics. It is inspired by a simple principle: the act of competing together is a quick path to understanding, acceptance, and friendship.

It is the goal of Special Olympics New Jersey to provide access to year-round sports training, athletic competition, wellness training and leadership opportunities to children and adults with intellectual disabilities all across New Jersey completely free of charge.
