It is usually crowded pick up your swag and bib the day before the race if you can to save time. The weather is usually still nice but crisp this time of year. This seems to be one of the most popular races put on in Missoula that is not the marathon.

The temperature was somewhere around 3 degrees, but the race beanie was so perfect! Hot cocoa afterwards was great, but an indoors post race hang out would have been better. … MORE
The temperature was somewhere around 3 degrees, but the race beanie was so perfect! Hot cocoa afterwards was great, but an indoors post race hang out would have been better. As they suggest, definitely bring clothes to change into, you’ll sweat more then you know and then freeze while you’re waiting for your car to warm up! The route itself isn’t tough, but there may be snow/ice. Didn’t find crampons necessary, but this was one of my slower races.
