From race website: “After months of deliberation the volunteer committee of Torbay Half Marathon have sadly concluded that the 2023 event will not take place. In this tough climate we all find ourselves in, teamed with the losses made during covid the event is not financially viable to hold next year without cutting corners or charging a much higher entrance fee – two things the committee strongly resist. We know how disappointing this will be for our running community – this event is very well loved, a favourite amongst a busy race calendar, however we want to review our options over the next 6 months with a plan on coming back with a bang in 2024. We thank you all for your support – it’s not goodbye, just ‘see you soon’.”
