This is a well produced local race in beautiful SW Ohio woods. It consists of 95% dirt single back mostly on the East Fork Beach Trail. Strava users can find the loop searching for 2017 Topo Trail Marathon Loop. It measures 417 elevation gain over 6+ miles. I’ve run it twice and both times it has been slick and muddy but not impassible. This year there were 3 aid stations fairly well spaced over the 6 miles. I’d definitely recommend it knowing it will be difficult with many areas requiring quick feet, good balance, and paced effort.
