Much more difficult than I expected. No map until packet pick up and no elevation guide that I could find. Paved at the start with continuous minor incline. Then we hit dirt (fine powder mixed with hard pitted / rocky). I’m thinking these were the fire access roads. Lots of hills. I literally felt like there was never a down, just up! Aid stations were plentiful and had porta potties (big plus for basically a trail run). One station ran out of water, but had electrolytes. No gels that I could find even though they were advertised as being available. Good medal, band, beer and cinnamon roll at the finish. Overall, it was well organized. I definitely prefer paved , so I will not run again, but would say “go for it” if you are a trail runner.
