New date, same great race. Yes, the NFL moved the Super Bowl back one week to allow for an extra game this season. That means the Couch Potato will be run one week later than normal this year. That being said, we are more than excited to have everyone back on Onondaga Lake Parkway.
New this year: are you a middle or high school runner and looking to test your winter fitness? Age based pricing for anyone 18 and under, only $15 to register for the event. This still includes the winter hat!
Last year we partnered with the Food Bank of CNY were able to raise nearly $1500! We would like to beat that this year so please consider a donation along with your race registration. A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to the Food Bank of CNY in addition to ALL money any participant would like to donate on top of race registration.
We have our main sponsor back again this year, Dunk & Bright Furniture has graciously donated two $250 gift certificates that will be raffled off, we also have several gift certificates to local restaurants and breweries. Each participant will receive one automatic entry into the raffle. Interested in having more chances to win? For each $5 donation you make to our fundraiser for the Food Bank of CNY, you will receive an additional entry into the raffle. We will host the raffle drawing at the conclusion of the event. You do not need to be present at the finish to win, all gift certificates will be mailed if unclaimed race day.
