Stay Away 50K

The Stay Away 50K course is as challenging as it is beautiful. The first few miles meander, allowing you to warm up with a gentle incline. Then UP YOU GO – topping out at 9500′. This run will take your breath away! How long can you STAY AWAY, stay ahead of the cyclists who’ll be putting the hammer down to reel you in… Do you have what it takes to reach the finish line on foot???

92% dirt – 8% paved – 4,300′ elevation gain

Additional Details:

• 3 fully stocked aid stations and one water stop along the route
• Finisher award
• Sandwiches, cookies, chocolate milk and soft drinks at the finish line
• Chip timing provided by Race Day Timing
• Race tech tee or other souvenir for all participants who sign up at least a month in advance
• Fun party atmosphere with music at the finish line
• 8 hour time limit. Course closes at 3pm.
• A portion of every entry fee will be donated to Challenged Athletes Foundation

Awards / Divisions:
Podium for top 3 men and women overall if race reaches 30+ runners; if less, than top man and top woman overall only.
Online results will be listed overall and by division: 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60+ for both men’s and women’s.
