Starkey Wilderness Stomp

Join us for the fourth annual Starkey Wilderness Stomp Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon & 5k at the beautiful J.B. Starkey Wilderness Park in Pasco County, Florida. This trail run features non-technical off-road running that is suitable for trail running novices as well as experienced off-road runners wanting to go fast. Wide trails that mix hard-packed dirt and shell with some stretches of sand AND just a little twisty mountain bike single track on a trail called “Deliverance.” Get ready to Dare Greatly in 2020!!!

Starkey Wilderness Park is an amazing Pasco County resource that is easily accessible to the greater Tampa Bay area via the Suncoast Parkway, I-75 and SR54 – making it convenient for all to come and run with us in the woods.

The half marathon course is two loops of a mix of dirt hiking trails and just a little single track mountain bike trail. Aid Stations: 2-3 on route with sports drink (each lap) and water. There will NOT be an aid station every mile.

The quarter marathon course is a mix of dirt hiking trails and just a little single track mountain bike trail. This is a trail run–expect a few roots and ruts, mud and sand! Two aid Stations on route with sports drink and water.
