Course Summary
All runs take place on a 1 mile trail loop around the Kendall Mountain Recreation Area in beautiful Silverton, Colorado at elevation 9318. Each 1 mile loop of the course features a challenging 250 feet of elevation gain and subsequent loss. The runs are all “go as you please” format, meaning you may run or rest when you choose.
Not Just a Camp
While we’ll be camping and hanging all week, we’ll also be participating in a mountain race one mile at a time. How much vert will you do? 10,000 feet? 20,000 feet?
Join us for 1, 2, 3 or 5 days of training (6-hour and 12-hour options available also) on the 1-mile hand-build trail loop at Kendall Mountain Recreation Area. The loop gains and descends ~250 feet over the course of the mile and is a perfect way to get the lungs burning, the quads screaming and build fitness for a summer event.

This is the first time we’ve had an opportunity to bring together the Run Steep Get High world wide community. Meet others that embrace the steep life of mountain running.
