Siberian Ice Half Marathon

The Siberian Ice half Marathon (SIM) is one of the coldest races in the world.

SIM is held annually on the 7th of January – on the Orthodox Christmas Day. One more reason to visit this event is to see the Christmas celebrations and Christmas services in Russia.

The half marathon has the official status of a full member of the Association of International Marathons and Races (AIMS), is included in the Calendar Plan of Physical Education and Sports Events of the Omsk Region and the Calendar of the All-Russian Athletics Competitions.

This is an international event with more than 25 years history. Long enough to show the high level of organization and popularity among running fans. And all this time it attracts the bravest and the craziest runners from all over the world to challenge Mother Nature and test their strength.
