Will run this again. I was coming off a lower back injury. This was my first race since I hurt my back in December. It was just the right amount of difficulty for getting back into my running. The medals are huge and I love the dragonfly. Lots of nice restaurants nearby for brunch after. It was super cold out though so lots of layers but that of course is nothing that can be helped. I recommend this race and will do it again next year. Fun to just have a ladies race too!!!!

Will run this again. I was coming off a lower back injury. This was my first race since I hurt my back in December. It was just the right amount of difficulty for getting back into my running. This year, She Power Chandler had a brand new course. Sooooo much better and more enjoyable than past races. The course traveled along side a canal for the majority of the time. Much more scenic than past routes. Police and community support was excellent when crossing major busy roads. With the new course, this is a re-do local event for me.

There is no scenery on this course. It’s flat and on busy roads. There is fantastic first responder support for safety. There are A lot of water stops. The medal is huge and pretty. The cake at the finish line was awesome. There isn’t much crowd support along the route. Pre-race activities were lacking. There were no count-down announcements and no real fanfare prior to the race.

It was a nice race with an easy course and great support from other female runners. It wasn’t much of a scenic run as it went through downtown Chandler, but overall nice course. Great support from the Chandler Police Department in keeping the runners safe. Loved the humongous medal and Balega socks at the end of the race. Good support throughout the course as well with water and Gatorade. Would recommend this race! Made a personal best for time as well!!!
