Santa Barbara Red Rock Endurance Run
Located deep in the beautiful Santa Barbara backcountry, the Santa Barbara Red Rock Trail Run is advanced and intended for expert trail runners only. Expect long sections with little or no support. This is not a fancy event, it is a genuine, old fashion trail run. It is a low key, 50 Mile Trail Endurance Run, Trail Marathon, Trail Half Marathon and 5km Trail Run. 50 Mile will start at 6:00am The 21km and 42km will start at 7:00 A.M. The 5km Trail Run will start at 8:00am at the Sage Hill Campground 177 Paradise Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. The out and back course formats offer dramatic views of the Santa Barbara Backcountry. Your registration fee includes, overnight first come, overnight camping, finishers award, custom shirt, awards to top male and female overall. As always, the course marking will be minimal but adequate. Aid on course will also be minimal but adequate.
Trail 5km
Trail 5km will start at 8:00am at the 177 Paradise Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. The Trail 5km is an out and back format. There will be aid at approximately mile 1.5 This course is extremely technical, steep, long and slow. All participants will be required to carry a minimum of 20oz of fluid.
Trail Half Marathon 21km
Trail Half Marathon will start at 7:00am at the 177 Paradise Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. The Half Marathon is an out and back format. There will be aid at approximately mile seven. This course is extremely technical, steep, long and slow. See 2019 results. All participants will be required to carry a minimum of 60oz of fluid.
Trail Marathon 42km
Trail Marathon will start at 7:00am at the 177 Paradise Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. The Trail Marathon 42km is an out and back format. There will be aid at approximately mile seven. This course is extremely technical, steep, long and slow. See 2019 results. All participants will be required to carry a minimum of 60oz of fluid.
50 Mile Trail Run
50 Mile Trail Run will start at 6:00am at the 177 Paradise Rd, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. The 50 Mile course is an out and back format. The course is advanced and intended for the expert trail runner only. Remote, long sections with little or no support, minimal aid and minimal markings. There is no map and no course profile. All participants will be required to carry a minimum of 100oz of fluid and a working light.
