Salisbury 5-4-3-2-1 Trail Runs

The Salisbury 5-4-3-2-1 Trail Runs or Walks, is an event suited to all the family, with a choice of 5k and 10k Walks and then either run or walk 21k (Half Marathon), 33k, 42k (Marathon), or the more demanding and popular 50k Ultra Marathon. The routes are mostly off-road and will be over footpaths, bridleways and quiet country roads in the Salisbury Wessex area. They will take you past a variety of sites of Historical and Scientific interest and through large Country Estates not usually open to the general public. This has been made possible by the kind permission of several landowners along the route and including English Heritage.

In 2015, the ‘Lonely Planet Guide’ put Salisbury in the Top 10 of World Cities to visit. In 2012, the Salisbury 54321 was listed in the Top 10 Trail Races and in 2013 in the top 3 races in the month of August. In 2014/15/16 the event saw some records fall, and over 1,000 finishers over the combined distances and walking options and again in 2016 the Salisbury 54321 closed due to reaching its self imposed limits (of combined distance choices) prior to the event with 1,100 participants. In 2016 Running Fitness Magazine voted the Salisbury 54321 in the Top 5 ‘Most scenic Half Marathon’ races in the UK.
