All of the staff at ABC House want to give a huge thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, community members, and participants who helped make the Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon & 8K possible. Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon and 8K is fun for everyone! Runners and walkers add to the festive atmosphere by dressing in costumes. Rain or shine, this is an event that you don’t want to miss.

Held at beautiful Cheadle Lake Park in Lebanon, Oregon, the race’s start and finish lines are located inside the Park off Weirich Drive.

Each Half Marathon participant receives a nifty tech shirt, a reusable goodie bag filled with gifts and coupons, a coupon to the beer garden (if participant is over 21 years of age) and a finisher’s medal. 8K participants receive the same awesome tech shirt, a beer garden coupon, and a bag to stock up on all the cool vendor giveaways at the start of this year’s race.

Friends and family are encouraged to come out to Cheadle Lake Park and cheer on the runners and walkers.

100% of the event’s proceeds go to ABC House; the Child Abuse Intervention Center serving abused and neglected children in Benton and Linn Counties.
