Ian Cairns, retired pro surfer, who now dedicates his time to developing products that can help us stay safe in the Ocean. And other businesses who share my passion for the deep blue.

On May 29, 2016, a Great White shark bit Maria while swimming at Corona del Mar, Big Corona beach. Rather than be bitter from this experience, Maria has dedicated herself to learning as much as possible about sharks in the ocean with the help of Shark Stewards founder, David McGuire.

Plastics pollute, killing marine life and destroying reefs. We want to coexist with marine life. We want to continue surfing, swimming, sailing and enjoying the bounty of the ocean. Shark Stewards is our advocate and needs our help. It is our responsibility to keep the ocean clean, healthy, and preserve it for generations to come.
