Be part of the annual Stockton Thanksgiving morning tradition to help raise hunger awareness and funds for the Emergency Food Bank… an organization that provides food assistance and programs to the working poor in San Joaquin County.
All Run Against Hunger courses are flat, fast out and back and start in from of Banner Island Ballpark, home of the Stockton Ports, and takes participants through Stockton’s Weber Point and Waterfront area. Walkers have their own scenic course along the Waterfront. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome, but please line up behind the runner to help avoid any possible collisions.
Participants will receive an official Run & Walk Against Hunger long sleeved cotton shirt and have the option to upgrade to a long-sleeved technical shirt for an additional $10. Participants receive a virtual goodie-bag.

I love to run on Thanksgiving and this race is in the area that my in-laws live in. It is a very flat out-and-back course and good for attempting a PR, which I did get in 2017. Because it is a flat out-and-back though, it is a little boring. You get a shirt, but no medal. Overall, its a fun race to do before Turkey Day.
