The annual Walk/Run 5K for Abilis has become Abilis’ signature “friend-raising” and awareness building event. Many of those who take part in the walk/run do so because they are inspired by the story of a friend or family member with a developmental disability. This year we are thrilled to welcome everyone back to Tod’s Point in Old Greenwich!
We look forward to once again coming together as a community alongside Abilis program participants and their family and friends, Abilis staff, local businesses, hundreds of donors and most importantly, an army of volunteers that will make it happen, back at our home base of Tod’s Point in Old Greenwich.
The Walk/Run for Abilis is a 5K run or 1-mile accessible walk that you, your friends, family members and co-workers can take part in at picturesque Tod’s Point. The course is flat, mostly paved and suitable for all levels! The Walk/Run for Abilis will allow you to connect to our Abilis community, get some exercise and raise critical funds for Abilis.

WHY WALK OR RUN?
The Walk/Run for Abilis has always been about camaraderie and celebration, and this year is even more special as make a return to Tod’s Point. We will once again come together for a full in-person event with the mission of raising critical funds for Abilis all while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Greenwich shoreline.
Funds raised will support new initiatives within Abilis that will support the over 800 individuals with special needs and their families from birth through their lifespan within lower Fairfield County.
