This race has been since moved to Folsom, but when I ran it, it was held in Elk Grove near COHS. Interesting theme incorporating odd race distances (8-mile for me), guaranteeing a PR in a way. I wore fingerless fishnet gloves, an 8-bit super Mario shirt, and legwarmers! Medal was plastic shaped like one of the Pac-Man ghosts with other references.
