Rock & Laurel Trail Race

Support North County Land Trust (NCLT) by participating in the Rock & Laurel 5K Trail Race. The event starts at the site of the event host, the Applewild School (Fitchburg Campus), and winds through the scenic trails lined with mountain laurel in bloom on this 5k trail race/walk to benefit NCLT. Proceeds support NCLT’s conservation efforts in north central MA.

Located on Flat Rock Road in Fitchburg, MA, the 150-acre Crocker Conservation Area offers a gateway to over 2,500 acres of protected land, abutting the Audubon Flat Rock Wildlife Sanctuary and over 2,000 acres of watershed land owned by the City of Fitchburg. The central feature of the Crocker Conservation Area is the beautiful Overlook Reservoir. The relatively flat trails around its perimeter provides a favorite loop for many people.

North County Land Trust is a non-profit that is committed to protecting the natural resources in north central Massachusetts for 30 years. As a regional resource, we work to conserve land for the health and well-being of our citizens, manage natural resources and wildlife, and preserve the sustainability of our planet. All funds raised will go directly to supporting land protection projects, management of our more than 1,500 acres of land and miles of public trails, and offering nature-based programming in north central MA. Race begins at 9am. Registration and parking available starting at 8am. This is a rain or shine event. No refunds.
