One Day in Auburn

Placer High School track is known as the place where dreams come true as runners cross the finish line of the Western States 100. Now, Singletrack Running brings you the One day in Auburn, a track event for everyone, if you can run a mile, you can participate.

Placer HS track has a brand new rubberized surfaced and it is fairly well protected from the wind with bathrooms available near the track making this the best location for anyone that is looking to break any personal records. This event will change directions every 3hrs.

Every distance will start right on time. Distance times are alternated to make sure we do not over crowd the track.

One Day in Auburn has a massive aid station available with all kinds of goodies every time you come around the track, furthermore we order three meals through out the 24hrs. We start with Pizza at 9pm, In and Out at 1am (yes, we have french fries), and we finish the day with breakfast burritos from Taco Tree. We also keep a warm vegan soup going on all day and night.

All STR events are filled with goodies and custom bibs, while we know the killer hills and post race party with plenty of food will make you want to sign up again, we celebrate your finish with major swag. Each STR race has a little different swag because we know nobody needs 14 beer pints, or 12 tshirts.
