The Raptor Ridge Trail Half Marathon & 10K is brought to you by Dirt Devil Racing. The first 4 miles and last 4 miles are flat as a pancake. Too bad Raptor Ridge is right in the middle! The 15K does not go over Raptor Ridge. You will climb 365 feet to the top of Raptor Ridge which offers sweeping and panoramic views of the historic San Pasqual Valley before dropping down the back side and making your way to the turn around point. This course is a true out and back. The race sells out fast…don’t delay. Don’t want to run a Half Marathon? Then come out and run the 10K.
Raptor Ridge Trail Half Marathon & 10K takes place on the historic Mule Hill Trail. The Mule Hill Trail is mostly flat with the exception of Raptor Ridge. Run through the San Pasqual Valley which is one of San Diego’s wine regions.
***NOTICE: This is a trail race and therefore distances can’t always be exact. Don’t worry, we won’t charge you extra for it. *** It is MANDATORY (HIGHLY SUGGESTED) that all runners carry at minimum 12 oz. hand bottle for hydration. This is a trail race and we are trying to eliminate the use of cups at Aid Stations to truly go green and sustainable. We need you to do your part.
Aid Stations: There will be 4 aid stations on the Half Marathon course.
Race Schwag: All finishers receive a race logo stadium cup, moisture wicking race logo shirt and custom race medal.
Post-Race Party and Awards Ceremony: Will be held at Mike Hess Brewing in Miramar Tasting Room

About 300 people participated in the 2016 edition of Dirt Devil Racing^s Raptor Ridge Halloween Half. It is a point to point race with a turning point at mile 6.5 after you had to climb/ run up Raptor Ridge. The pathes are fairly wide except that “mountain” part. 5 Waterstops, great t-shirt, beer glass. The After party at a brewery was with award ceremony but only for the winners of 10-year age groups.
