Join the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta’s annual Race for Rest 5K in partnership with Monday Night Brewing! Yes, there will be beer!
WHY SHOULD YOU RUN IN THE RACE FOR REST 5K?
1. If you register for the 5K by October 13, you are guaranteed a super cool free T-shirt
2. Every 5K participant (21 and over, of course) will receive a FREE beer and mini cocktail from ASW Distillery. Plus, all runners get free Dancing Goats Coffee!
3. The 5k is a chipped Peachtree qualifier that runs along the Beltline
4. There will be an official 5K after-party at the Garage with live music
5. Because everyone deserves a place to lay their head!
WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING?
The race begins and ends at Monday Night Brewing’s Garage location! Parking is free and the location is Marta accessible (yeah, public transportation!) We highly encourage runners or use Uber/Lyft.
Stick around after the 5K for our official after-party at Monday Night Garage where awards will be handed out. Grab your free beer and buy more to hang out for the day. Invite your non-runner friends to join you! Don’t worry parents, kids of all ages are welcome! Furry kids, too!
WHEN SHOULD YOU BE THERE?
The race starts at 9am. Come ready to run (or walk) and support Atlanta families in need! All funds raised will support Furniture Bank programs.
Packet pickup and on-site registration open at 7:30 am. If you’ve already picked up your packet, you can arrive as late as 8:45 am. If you are picking up your packet or registering on race day, please allow time and arrive by 8:30am at the very latest.
WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING? WE’RE GLAD YOU ASKED!

Awards will also be given to the top 3 fundraising teams!
ABOUT THE FURNITURE BANK OF METRO ATLANTA:
The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 1988 in response to the lack of furniture for families moving out of homeless shelters. Today, the Furniture Bank recycles gently-used furniture by collecting it from the community and giving it to individuals and families moving out of homelessness and fleeing domestic violence, as well as countless others struggling to make ends meet. The Furniture Bank provides beds for sleeping, tables for sharing meals, and couches for relaxing. In short, we turn houses into homes!
