Rabid Raccoon 25K

The Rabid Raccoon Raccoon presented by Bad Beard Events, is an epic middle-distance race in Chattanooga, Tennessee that begins atop Raccoon Mountain at Laurel Point. This event will take place on the north and western side of the mountain, utilizing the following trails: Megawatt, Grindstone Ridge, Lower Chunky, Live Wire 1 & 2, High Voltage, and Split Rock. To keep things interesting, each year, Rabid Raccoon alternates directions. The 2021 crew will follow the course in a clockwise fashion. How cool is that? Regardless of the direction, whether you’re a competitive racer, or a runner simply looking for a challenge, this gorgeous course is for you.

A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Southern Off Road Biking Association (SORBA), a regional division of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA).
