Porter’s HOWLoween Half Marathon & 10K

Porter’s Half is it! Porter Rockwell was one of Utah’s most unique characters, and so is this race—hence, we call it “Porter’s Half!” With a distinct history in Draper, we feel it appropriate to keep this controversial legacy alive and well.

This race boasts stunning scenery, beautiful route, with majestic views of the Wasatch Mountains, and a great Halloween party atmosphere – Just like Porter would want it!

And if your appetite for adventure is not quite half marathon size, there are 3 other distances to choose from: 10K, & 5K!

Run along the secluded Jordan River Trail! Different from years past, the start of Porters Half is at Galena Park in Draper, Utah at approximately 4200 feet above sea level. Runners for all distances will head from Galena Park to the Jordan River trail, heading south, then turning around and heading north… all starting and finishing at Galena Park Pavillion Area & parking lot.
