The Police Officers and Firefighters Memorial 5K takes place at Heroes Stadium on Thousand Oaks. Pre-race welcome ceremony at 8:15am with Police Honor Guard, Taps, National Anthem, etc. USAT&F Grand Prix Series Race number four, with Chip timing by CC timing!

    I ran this 5K because I was in town for a conference and wanted to do a race. The weather almost killed me because it was so humid, but I am just not used to it. The course is just a couple loops in a parking lot, so not much for scenery, but the race benefits a good cause.
