The charm of the Palermo City Marathon and in particular the race on the road, the spectacular setting of a stage that becomes an opportunity for Palermo to make known and show the great cultural and architectural heritage that distinguishes it, enhancing and exploiting a tourist value destined to grow in the years to come they can obtain excellent visibility for an event of this kind. One of the goals achieved over time was to have the awareness of having consolidated over time, the most participated street event in Southern Italy, and be able to present a Claim with very distinctive characters that makes the right value to what the City of Palermo must be in the eyes of the sports world: FOR … CORRERE THE ART. The aim is to impose the global attention of a collective that makes sport and physical activity, the belief to live better and healthier. To participate, to provide the sportsman the opportunity to be a protagonist. Obviously a wonderful opportunity to visit and know our beautiful island and our “City of Art”.
The location of the Palms Stadium is confirmed, and the organization intends to continue the path taken by two editions: to present a competitive event of consolidated sporting importance, under the banner of sobriety and essentials. In a very delicate historical moment, any action that leads to waste and superfluity could certainly be detrimental to the result of the event itself. In a context in which the institutions will certainly make a definite contribution, we are very confident in the attention of the Municipality of Palermo, but above all in our long-standing commercial partners, Unicredit – Diadora – Crai on all. Also for this edition we will propose the well-known Claim For … Running the Art supported by a new very pleasant layout.
