Pain in Green Lane

Pain in Green Lane features a challenging but extremely scenic trail course around the lake and reservoir! The trail consists of a variety of surfaces, from paved pathway to single track rock and root covered dirt path, packed gravel, as well as parts of the mulch path. (There are a few rocky areas on the blue trail, you can either walk, hop or crawl your way through!)

The 25k starts on the closed off road down from the Ranger Station and then proceeds across the bridge and follows the Perkiomen Trail to Route 29, up the big hill, around the Reservoir to Knight Road (staying on the trail). It then crosses over the bridges, follows the trail around the perimeter of the reservoir to the boat launch area, proceeds back up the hill to the equestrian camping area, down and back to where you started for the finish.

The 50k will be 2 loops of the 25k course.

For all races, arrive before the sun rises and catch the beauty of the reflection on the lake. Stay for the Ultra races and run as the sun sets. These races are the perfect time of year to see the changing leaves and enjoy the crisp air.

Race Details
We plan to have 2 well-stocked aid stations on the course along with one at the start finish fresh fruit water Gatorade bars candy. If there is something in particular you would like please email us prior to the event.

There is space for people to set up “camp ” also the start finish is right near the parking area.
