Ouachita Switchbacks

The Ouachita Switchbacks 50K & 25K is Oklahoma’s toughest and most beautiful ultra. Back this year is the 10 Mile Race as well, but this year it will start at the top and run point to point in reverse to the finish. The 10 mile race will begin at 10 am so that you can finish with your friends. Shuttle will be provided to get runners to the start.

The course is extremely technical with considerable elevation change. The Ouachita Mountains are certainly not what most people think of when they think of Oklahoma. Race start and finish is in a remote location with no facilities. Lots of swag including hoodies, finishers mugs, finisher hats for the 50K, bumper stickers, handcrafted race awards and great camaraderie and post race party.
