You park at the finish line and are bused to the start line. I generally hate relying on buses for transport but it was incredibly easy and organized. We were nervous about getting to the start on time and got an earlier bus and were a little cold waiting at the start for 45 min but we could have brought extra clothes and put them in the super efficient mobile lockers that were driven to the finish line. The course and weather were beautiful and I even stopped a few times to take photos of the ocean.

This is a must do. And that it sells out should tell you all that you need to know. Must do. And I will be back next year. If you get the 6:30 shuttle you will witness a great sunrise and can see the sun reflecting of the windows of block island. The finishers 🏅 is one a kind. A diving helmet was a great complement too receive for 🏃 this course

This race is amazing. I’ve run it three times. The beach looks incredible at sunrise when you park you car. Even the shuttle ride from the parking lot to the starting line is scenic. The lighthouse point where you wait for the rest of the participants to arrive is incredibly beautiful as well. Aide stations are perfectly laid out. There’s one or two hills in the middle but the rest is very flat. The last 1-1.5 miles are directly next to Narragansett Beach and gorgeous! I only wish the race swag were performance tech instead of regular cotton but that’s my only qualm. Love it!
