Navajo Code Talker 29K & 10K

Honor the legendary Navajo Code Talkers with a run on the final day of the Navajo Nation Fair. Distances are 29K (in honor of the original 29 Code Talkers) or 10K. This year’s event will begin and end at the Navajo Nation Museum. The course is part pavement and part trail.

The main course is a 6-mile loop that 29K runners complete three times and the 10K runners do once, with a slight variation at the end. The course heads out of the NN Museum, circling the Museum once before heading out on the Museum Trail. The course heads up on the Museum Trail to the WR Dam and on to the Fish & Wildlife trail system, dropping into the historic tribal government complex and then back to the WR Park. From the Park, the route heads back toward the Museum. The course is subject to slight variation at the discretion of race and tribal officials.

Registration includes performance t-shirt, course support, age-group awards, post-race food, finisher’s medals and professional timing.
