The Morgan Hill Meat Grinder is a USATF-sanctioned and insured event and is happening with approval, support, and permission from the NYS DEC, Finger Lakes Trail Conference, Private Landowners, and the ADK-Onondaga trail chapter. We are very privileged to have this race happening and it would not be possible without the previously listed partners, so a huge thank you to all of them!

New in 2024, the Morgan Hill Meat Grinder will be starting from the Community Shelter at Highland Forest County Park! This move enables us to use a bit more of the Finger Lakes Trail, from Highland Forest to Kettlebail State Forest. Don’t worry though, the majority of your mileage will be on the trails through, up, over, and around Morgan Hill State Forest!

And the final uphill leading back into Highland will ensure all the meat is ground out of your legs!

True to its namesake, this course will chew you up! While your legs will be ground up your spirit will have been forged and stronger than ever with the knowledge and experience of having conquered some of the most gnarly trails (and course) in Upstate NY! 

There will be 2 distances on offer, 50 miles and 25K. Pick your poison but rest assured that both will distances will chew you up!
