The annual Millennium Meadows Marathon events occur at Secchia Meadows in Millennium Park, one of the many Kent County Parks and what we think is the most scenic and beautiful. You will run on a wide and paved path that crosses a footbridge, winds along the Grand River and cuts … MORE

This race was a loop, I wasn’t sure how I’d like it but I actually loved it. There was water, trees, beautiful scenery which made it easy to keep running the same loop 😉 it was easy for my husband to pick a spot and hang out for the duration of the race. Great spectators, who started to recognize you & cheered a little louder each time you passed them! It’s a pretty flat course so easy to PR. I used this race as a training run and PR’d ! Thinking of going back to try and BQ qualify!
    I’d definitely recommend this race!!

This is the same course where the good folks who brought us the Groundhog marathon and the last chance BQ.2 have added an August race for everyone to enjoy this beautiful course. Very proud to say that I was the overall winner for the inaugural running of the half, and I don’t foresee that ever happening again as this race rightfully games more notoriety in the future.
