Mekong Delta Marathon Hau Giang 2020 promises to bring about a diversity of brand new activities, centered around the runner experience.
Alleviating the impacts of climate change with the slogan #SaveMekongDelta continues to be the main message of the race. The special activity “One runner runs – A tree is planted” will be a meaningful act that the whole runner community contribute to the development strategy of Vietnamese Mekong Delta. Through this, the message has gone its way from just saying into real doing, which perfectly suits a true runner’s spirit.
The Mekong Delta Marathon continues to introduce the Vietnam Southwest by the river with the icon of hospitable locals, picturesque villages, far-flung green fields. Above all, for the first time, water stations will be directly taken over by local people under the instruction and surveillance of organizers. Definitely, participants will have special experience when passing the roads with millions of supporters.
This year, great improvements were made to the running route, which focuses on introducing beautiful people and landscape. Unrepeated running routes, evoking different emotions will help runners not only to compete well but also to discover the place in a unique runner’s way.
The Culture – Cuisine – Sport festivals will continue to be invested based on strict criteria, to make runners feel special. It is worth noticing that the expo and festival area will be moved to a new position, which is much closer to the locals. Mekong Delta Marathon Hau Giang 2020 welcomes all runners.
