This race was littered with problems. The race was supposed to start at 4am but the director of the race wasn’t there. We all waited in the dark until someone finally got word that he was in his way. We got started about an HOUR LATE! Be a drunk on your own time, loser. This created a big problem when the race ends with 10 miles of crazy sketchy mountain climbing which now potentially had to be finished in the dark. Moronic planning.
Also, just for fun, porta potties we’re almost non-existent.(wouldn’t want to spend our money on important things)
The aid station volunteers were great but the food was cheap grocery store garbage, and there should have been more stations. After all of this, you get the cheapest Balsa-wood square when you finish. No medal, no t-shirt, nada. I feel like he just keeps all the money because this couldn’t have cost more than $1 per “award”.
This race is a dud. Save your money.
