Mad Moose Marathon

The Mad Moose Marathon is a trail running event in a wilderness setting!

All event distances start and finish at the Otway Ski Center. All competitors must sign in on the form provided at race start, and when completing their event, SIGN out. This is for your safety so that we know if you are on course or not. All events follow trails through the Otway ski center connecting to the Greenway trail.

At the 10 KM turnaround point, runners simply backtrack to the finish. At the Half Marathon turnaround point, runners simply backtrack to the finish. Full Marathoners proceed all the way to the Greenway Trailhead parking lot at UNBC where you will find a water station, turn around and head back to Otway. Ultras follow the Marathon course on their first loop of the Greenway and then follow the Half Marathon course on their second loop of the Greenway.
